He stepped forward, his dog by his side. But before the light changed, the dog stood uneasily, lifting its paws one after another off the scorching pavement. That’s when I realized the man had no idea his dog was in pain. Heated asphalt and sidewalks can burn a dog’s paws in seconds.
I knew there had to be a way to teach children about pet care, responsibility, and the challenges pets face—through something fun and engaging. And that was the day the idea for the Woof and Me dog board game for kids was born.
